Picture Post Studios Limited IPO shares allotment status is expected to be finalised on Wednesday, August 7, after the public offer closed with a huge subscription.

The NSE SME IPO was open for subscription from August 2 to August 6.

At the end of the three-day bidding period, the initial public offer (IPO) was oversubscribed by 266.60 times. The portion reserved for non-institutional investors (NIIs) was subscribed the most, almost 390 times, while the retail investors’ quota was overbid by 308 times. The qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) category was subscribed over 101 times.

Shreni Shares Ltd. was the book-running lead manager and market maker of the Picture Post Studios IPO, while Bigshare Services Pvt Ltd was appointed as the registrar.

Picture Post Studios IPO was a 100% book-built issue that aimed to raise a total of ₹18.72 crore. The issue comprised a fresh issuance of 78 lakh shares with no offer-for-sale (OFS) component.

The price band of the IPO was fixed at ₹22-24 per share, with the minimum bid quantity of 6,000 shares and in multiples thereafter.

Ahead of the launch of the IPO, Picture Post had also raised ₹5.3 crore from anchor investors by allocating a total of 22.08 lakh shares at an average price of ₹24 per share.

Picture Post Studios had said that it proposed to use the net proceeds from the issue to fund capital expenditure requirements, purchase equipment and software, repay/prepay the company's borrowings, and for general corporate purposes.
