The IPO market is going through a purple patch, with more than 25 mainboard initial public offerings getting listed since October 2025. Of the latest 15 IPOs, 11 are trading above their issue price, while four are below it.

Shares of stockbroking platform Groww's parent, Billionbrains Garage Ventures, are trading 3.40% higher at ₹156.97 per unit on the National Stock Exchange on Tuesday, November 25. This reflects an increase of 56.97% over the issue price of ₹100. On November 12, the scrip had debuted at 12% premium.

The ₹6,632.30 IPO was a fresh issue of equity shares worth ₹1,060 crore and an offer for wale (OFS) component of ₹5,572.30 crore.

Groww had reported a 12.18% surge in its consolidated net profit to ₹471.34 crore in the quarter ended September 2025, compared to ₹420.16 crore in the year-ago period. However, revenue from operations fell 9.47% to ₹1,018.74 crore in the reporting quarter, as against ₹1,125.38 crore a year back. The company said its total transacting users advanced to 19 million, marking a 27% year-on-year (YoY) increase.

Shares of home appliance maker LG Electronics India are up 43.08% from the IPO issue price of ₹1,140. The stock had debuted at 50.01% premium. The public offer had sought to raise ₹11,607.01 crore solely by an OFS of 10.18 crore shares.

In Q2 FY26, the company posted a 27.30% decline in profit after tax (PAT) to ₹389.43 crore, compared to ₹535.7 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. The revenue rose 0.98% YoY to ₹6,174.02 crore.

Other stocks that are trading above their issue prices include Canara Robeco AMC, Rubicon Research, Canara HDBC Life Insurance, Midwest, Lenskart Solutions, Pine Labs, Physicswallah, Tenneco Clear India and Capillary Technologies.

Shares of MTR & Eastern owner Orkla India, which had debuted at a 2.75% premium, are down nearly 11% against the IPO issue price of ₹730.

The stocks of Studds Accessories, Emmvee Photovoltaic Power and Fujiyama Power Systems are also down 6.32%, 0.83% and 3.26% from their respective issue prices.
