Park Medi World IPO: The basis of allotment of hospital chain Park Medi World is likely to be finalised on Monday, December 15. The details will be available on the portals of the BSE, the NSE and the registrar, KFin Technologies.

The initial share sale received 8.10 times subscription, with bids for 33,88,30,572 shares compared to 4,18,18,182 shares on offer, as per the stock exchages data.

The category for non-institutional investors fetched 15.15 times subscription, while the part for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) got 11.48 times subscription. The non-institutional investors' (NIIs) portion got subscribed 3.16 times.

The ₹920 crore initial share sale, with a price band of ₹154 to ₹62 per share, was a combination of a fresh issuance of ₹770 crore and an offer for sale, or OFS, of shares aggregating to ₹150 crore by promoter Ajit Gupta.

Of the fresh issue proceeds, ₹380 crore will be used for debt repayment, ₹60.5 crore for the development of a new hospital and expansion of the existing hospital by its units – Park Medicity (NCR) and Blue Heavens, Park Medicity (NCR), ₹27.45 crore for medical equipment, and the remaining funds will be utilised for unidentified inorganic acquisitions and general corporate purposes.

Park Medi World, which runs a hospital chain primarily in North India, has 13 multi-super speciality hospitals. They include eight hospitals in Haryana, three hospitals in Punjab, one hospital in New Delhi and two hospitals in Rajasthan.
