The basis of allotment for Orient Cables India Ltd is expected to be finalised on Wednesday, September 30. Investors who have applied for the IPO can check bid finalisation details on the websites of the NSE, the BSE and KFin Technologies.

The issue was subscribed 92.27 times, as it attracted bids for 1,38,18,98,705 shares compared to 1,49,76,743 shares on offer, according to the NSE data.

The quota for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) fetched 182.76 times subscription, while the portion for non-institutional investors was booked 115.63 times. The part reserved for retail investors was subscribed 30.55 times.

The ₹552 crore IPO, with a price band of ₹258 to ₹272 per share, consisted of a fresh issue of 1.18 crore shares worth up to ₹320 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) component of shares totalling ₹232 crore.

The money raised will be used for capital expenditure towards the purchase of machinery, equipment and civil works at its manufacturing units, repayment or partial prepayment of certain borrowings and general corporate purposes.

Orient Cables specialises in networking cables and passive networking equipment and serves industries including telecom, broadband, data centres, renewable energy and smart building automation.
