Sairam, in response to the queries by shareholders at the annual general meeting (AGM), said that the proper timeline of the IPO would depend on market conditions and government directions.

"Regarding IPOs of South Eastern Coalfields Ltd and Mahanadi Coalfields Limited, we plan to complete them by the year-end positively. Its IPO will be completed in this current financial year only. The date will depend upon market conditions and government directives, etc," Sairam was quoted as saying by the Press Trust of India.
