Molbio Diagnostics share price: Here's how much investors made per lot

A lot consisted of 18 shares and cost ₹14,526. Investors who received Molbio Diagnostics IPO allotment made ₹17,640 per lot, taking the value of their investment to ₹3,114, as per the listing price on the NSE.

The ₹939.70 crore initial public offering comprised a fresh issuance of shares aggregating to ₹200 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) component of up to 91.66 lakh equity shares valued at ₹739.70 crore by existing shareholders.

The money raised will be used towards capital expenditure for setting up infrastructure for an R&D facility, Centre of Excellence and connected office space. A part will also be utilised for buying equipment and machinery, while the rest will be used for general corporate purposes.

The initial share sale secured a total subscription of 70.26 times, as it received bids for 57,32,14,536 shares compared 81,58,529 shares on offer, according to the NSE data.

The quota for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) got 186.39 times subscription. The portion for non-institutional investors (NIIs) was book 49.80 times and that of retail individual investors 12.96 times.

Prior to the IPO, the company mobilised ₹281.5 crore from anchor investors, including Goldman Sachs, Mirae Asset, Nippon India Mutual Fund, Kotak Mutual Fund, BlackRock Global Funds, Tata Mutual Fund, WhiteOak Capital, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Bajaj Life Insurance and HDFC Life Insurance.

Molbio Diagnostics Ltd, incorporated in 2000, is a point-of-care diagnostics company, engaged in offering molecular testing for 30 diseases, including tuberculosis, HPV, HIV, COVID and Hepatitis B and C.
