The initial public offering was subscribed 87.89 times, with bids for 27,39,83,920 shares compared to 31,17,460 shares on offer, as per the BSE data.

The initial share sale was a combination of a fresh issue of shares aggregating to ₹250 crore and an offer-for-sale of ₹201 crore by promoters Guntaka Ravindra Reddy and Kollareddy Rama Raghava Reddy.

Of the fresh issue, the company will utilise ₹130.3 crore for Phase II expansion of its quartz facility under its arm Midwest Neostone, ₹56.2 crore for debt repayment, ₹25.7 crore for electric dump trucks, ₹3.2 crore for solar energy integration at select mines, and the rest for corporate general purposes.

With a price band of ₹1,014 to ₹1,065 per share, a lot consisted of 14 shares.

Midwest is engaged in the mining and processing of natural stone and has expanded beyond granite into quartz processing via its Phase I facility, serving the engineered stone and solar glass segments.
