Mangal Electrical IPO allotment: The basis of allotment of transformer components manufacturer Mangal Electrical Industries was finalised on Monday, August 25, following the conclusion of the bidding period.

The issue was subscribed to 9.46 times during the three-day subscription window. It secured bids for 4,96,74,638 shares, compared to 52,53,301 shares on offer, according to the BSE data.

The part reserved for non-institutional investors (NIIs) attracted 18.79 times subscription, while the qualified institutional buyers' (QIBs) portion got subscribed 10.54 times. Retail individual investors (RIIs) secured 4.84 times subscription.

The initial public offer, which sought to raise ₹400 crore, was entirely a fresh issuance of 0.71 crore shares. There was no offer for sale component. The price band was ₹533 to ₹561 per share.

The funds generated will be utilised to clear debt, expand the firm's facility located in Rajasthan, support working capital requirements and serve general corporate purposes.

Mangal Electrical Industries makes transformers used for distribution and transmission of electricity in the power sector.
