Identical Brains Studios IPO: The initial public offering of Identical Brains Studios, which provides visual effects (VFX) services, will open for subscription on Wednesday, December 18. The three-day public issue, with ₹51-₹54 price band, will conclude on December 20.

The initial share sale comprises a fresh issue of equity shares worth ₹19.95 crore with a face value of ₹10 each.

The money raised will be used to enhance and expand the company's operations, such as renovating the existing studio and offering in Andheri, establishing a new branch office in Lucknow, and establishing a colour grading digital intermediate and sound studio at Andheri's new branch.

The fresh issue proceeds will also be used to purchase essential equipment like computers, softwares and storage systems. A portion will also be used to meet working capital requirements and general corporate purposes.

An investor can bid for a minimum of 2000 shares worth ₹108,000. For high net-worth individuals, the minimum investment size is two lots worth ₹216,000.

Identical Brains Studios reported a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹5.34 crore in the financial year 2023-24 (FY24) compared to ₹1.61 crore in the previous fiscal year, reflecting a 231.67% growth.

Revenue from operations increased 149.75% to ₹20.08 crore in FY24 as against ₹8.04 crore in FY23.

The book-running lead manager for the issue is Socradamus Capital, while Bigshare Services Pvt Ltd is the registrar.
