ICICI Prudential AMC IPO: The initial public offering of ICICI Bank's arm, ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company (AMC), opened for subscription on Friday, December 12. The issue will conclude on Tuesday, December 16.

The ₹10,602.65 crore initial share sale is an offer for sale of 48,972,994 equity shares by promoter Prudential Corporation Holdings Ltd.

Since there is no fresh issue component, the company will not get any proceeds from the IPO.

With a price band of ₹2,061 to ₹2,165 per share, a lot consists of six shares.

ICICI Prudential AMC IPO raises ₹3,022 crore from anchor investors

The mutual fund fetched ₹3,021.8 crore in its anchor round from 149 marquee investors. The company allotted shares to investors like the government of Singapore, Fidelity, Norges Bank, BlackRock, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Aberdeen, Capital World, JP Morgan Investment Management Inc, Wellington, Aranda Investments Pte Limited and Goldman Sachs.

Domestically, it also saw participation from the state-owned LIC and top mutual fund houses, such as Nippon India MF, SBI MF, Axis MF, Aditya Birla Sun Life MF and HDFC MF, among others.

The company allotted 1.39 crore shares to 149 funds at ₹2,165 apiece, the higher end of the price band.

This anchor placement comes on the heels of a pre-IPO funding round, where 26 foreign and domestic investors infused ₹4,815 crore into ICICI Prudential AMC.
