Gujarat Kidney and Super Speciality IPO: The initial public offering of healthcare company Gujarat Kidney and Super Speciality opened for subscription on Monday, December 22. The price band has been set at ₹108 to ₹114 per share. The issue will conclude on Wednesday, December 24.

The ₹250.80 crore initial share sale is a fresh issuance of 2,20,00,000 shares without an offer for sale (OFS) component.

Proceeds from the fresh issue will be utilised for the acquisition of Ahmedabad's Parekhs Hospital, part-payment of purchase consideration for the already acquired "Ashwini Medical Centre", setting up a new hospital in Vadodara, buying robotics equipment for the hospital at Vadodara, debt clearance, funding inorganic growth via unidentified acquisitions and corporate general purposes.

The subscription details for the first day of bidding will be available post 10 am.

Gujarat Kidney and Super Speciality IPO: Lot size

A lot consists of 128 shares and multiples thereof. The company has reserved 75% of the net offer for qualified institutional buyers, 10% for retail investors and 15% for non-institutional investors.

Before the IPO, the company mobilised ₹100.01 crore from 10 anchor investors, including Venus Investments, Nexus Global Opportunities Fund, Sunrise Investment Opportunities Fund and Khandelwal Finance Pvt Ltd. The firm allocated a little more than 87.73 lakh shares at an anchor price of ₹114 per equity share.

Nirbhay Capital Services Pvt Ltd is the sole book-running lead manager of the issue, while MUFG Intime India is the registrar.

Gujarat Kidney and Super Speciality, a regional healthcare company, is located in central Gujarat and operates a chain of mid-sized multi-speciality hospitals, providing integrated healthcare services.

It runs seven multispeciality hospitals with a total capacity of 490 beds.

According to investorgain.com and media reports, Gujarat Kidney and Super Speciality's unlisted shares are trading at ₹121, reflecting a grey market premium of 6.14% over the upper price band of ₹114.
