The ₹440 crore book-built issue is exclusively a fresh issuance of 2.08 crore shares. There is no offer for sale (OFS) component.

As the issue is set to hit the primary market in less than 24 hours, here's a look at its strengths, risks and financials.

Amir Chand Jagdish Kumar IPO: A look at its strengths

  • Amir Chand Jagdish Kumar (Exports) Ltd is a leading producer and exporter of basmati rice. The domestic basmati rice industry is predominantly organised, with approximately 30% to 40% of production being managed by major players.
  • Its network of procurement agents spread across the basmati paddy-producing areas of northern India enables it to effectively procure quality paddy at competitive prices in a timely manner.
  • It is among few Indian companies with fully integrated operations and a presence across the basmati rice value chain. Its operations include procurement, processing, storage, packaging, branding, marketing and distribution.
  • It has a pan-India presence with an extensive sales and distribution network that enables it to penetrate major markets.

Amir Chand Jagdish Kumar IPO: Risks

  • Amir Chand Jagdish Kumar (Exports) Ltd's packaging facilities are situated in non-conforming industrial areas in Delhi, which exposes it to regulatory risks, business disruption, and potential relocation.
  • Its operations are dependent on the supply of raw material. Non-availability or inadequacy and fluctuations in the cost of raw materials can affect business and financial conditions.
  • During the peak arrival season of paddy harvesting, the firm procures notable quantities of basmati paddy, which is the primary raw material. For the procurement of the same, a significant amount of working capital is needed. Any sufficient cash flows or inability to borrow funds can affect business.
  • In the six months ended September 2025, it derived 45.03% of its revenue from operations from top 10 customers and 28.92% of its revenue from the top five customers. The loss of any of these customers can affect financial condition.
