Waaree Energies share price rises ahead of Q3 results announcement

Waaree Energies share price: Shares of solar photovoltaic modules manufacturer Waaree Energies were trading in the positive territory on Thursday, January 30, ahead of the results announcement for the three-month period ending December 2024.

The stock was up 1.64% to ₹2,243.89 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) at 9:53 am. Its market capitalisation stood at ₹64,460.60 crore.

Waaree Energies to announce Q3 results on Jan 30

In a regulatory filing, the company said, "Waaree Energies Limited has informed the Exchange about board meeting to be held on 30-Jan-2025 to inter-alia consider and approve the unaudited financial results of the company for the quarterly ended December 2024."

The company will also hold a conference call for analysts and institutional investors on Friday, January 31, regarding the third-quarter results of the financial year 2024-25.

The conference call will be attended by CEO and whole-time Director Amit Paithankar, CFO Sonal Shrivastava, Group Head (Finance) Abhishek Pareek and General Manager (Investor relations) Rohit Wade.

How did Waaree Energies perform in Q2 FY25?

The company's consolidated profit after tax (PAT) increased 17.35% to ₹375.65 crore in the September quarter of FY25, compared to ₹320.12 crore in the year-ago period.

The total income stood at ₹3,663.46 crore in Q2 FY25, up 2.95% from ₹3,558.54 crore in the same period last fiscal.

EBITDA grew 14% to ₹613.93 crore in the latest September quarter, compared to ₹538.5 crore in Q2 FY24.

Waaree Energies: Recent order wins

  • On January 20, the company secured a Letter of Award for the supply of 180 MWp of solar modules from a well-known client engaged in owning, developing, and operating renewable power projects in India.
  • On January 2, Waaree Energies won an order for the supply of 150 MWp of solar modules from a renowned customer in the renewable power sector.
  • On December 19, the company bagged orders for two projects aggregating 398 MW for the supply of solar modules.
