V-Guard Industries Q1 results: Net profit jumps 76% YoY to ₹130 crore, revenue climbs 23%; check key numbers

V-Guard Industries announced its April to June quarter results for the financial year 2026-27, where the electronic goods manufacturer recorded strong Q1 financial performance with major support from the rising overall revenues for the period.

After the earnings announcement, V-Guard Industries shares surged 8.4% to their intraday high of ₹316.80 on Wednesday, compared to ₹292.25 at the previous market close, as per NSE data. The company posted its Q1 earnings report during market hours on July 29.

At 2:20 pm, the company shares were trading 3.1% higher at ₹302 apiece on the stock exchange.

Strong Q1 performance

NSE filings showed that V-Guard Industries’ consolidated net profit surged 76% to ₹130.25 crore in the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27, in comparison to ₹73.85 crore in the same period a year earlier.

On a sequential basis, the company’s consolidated profits gained 16% to its June quarter levels, from ₹112.13 crore in the same period a year ago.

V-Guard’s revenue from core operations advanced 23.5% to ₹1,810.65 crore in the June quarter, compared year-on-year (YoY) with ₹1,466.08 crore in the same period a year earlier.

The company’s operational-level EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation) gained 55.2% to ₹188.29 crore from ₹121.31 crore in the same period a year ago.

While the EBITDA margins expanded to 10.8% in the first quarter, from 8.6% in the same period a year earlier.

“We will continue to monitor the geopolitical situation and will take appropriate actions necessary to protect supplies and margins. We are hopeful that the growth momentum will sustain in the upcoming quarters,” said Mithun. K. Chittilappilly, Managing Director of V-Guard Industries.

Segmental revenue snapshot

V-Guard Industries’ revenues from the electronics business surged nearly 23% to ₹658.46 crore in the April to June quarter, from ₹536.29 crore in the same period a year earlier, as per the exchange filing.

The revenues from the electricals business gained 27% to ₹670 crore, in comparison to ₹524.70 crore at the same period last year.

While the revenues from the consumer durables segment advanced 19% YoY to ₹416.71 crore, from ₹349.58 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year, as per the NSE filings.

V-Guard Industries’ revenues from the Sunflame business rose 18% to ₹65.69 crore in the June quarter, compared with ₹55.51 crore in the same period a year ago.
