Toyam Sports Q4 results: Net profit at ₹39 lakh, revenue hits ₹3.25 crore

Sports promotion and management firm Toyam Sports Limited released its financial results for the final quarter of the financial year 2023-24 on Wednesday, June 12.

The company's consolidated net profit (attributable to owners) was ₹38.9 lakh in Q4 FY24. In the year-ago period, it had reported a net loss of ₹3.76 crore.

The revenue from operations stood at ₹3.25 crore in the latest March quarter compared to -₹1.26 crore in the corresponding period last year.

In the fiscal year 2023-24, the company reported a net profit of ₹4.85 crore, compared to a net loss of ₹12.22 crore in the previous fiscal. Revenue also increased by 723.6% to ₹27.92 crore in FY24, up from ₹3.39 crore in the year ended March 2023.

Toyama Sports Limited produces, promotes, and manages sports. The company, through its division Kumite 1 League, promotes sports like mixed martial arts (MMA), cricket, and tennis. It also provides affordable sports accessories, which are available on major e-commerce platforms Amazon and Flipkart.

Last year, Kumite 1 Warrior Hunt, India's first-ever MMA sports reality web series, became a huge success. The company also sponsored the Toyam Sports ODI Series between India and Bangladesh in 2022. In 2023, it also owned a team in the World Tennis League (WTL) in Abu Dhabi.

Shares of Toyam Sports were trading at ₹3.5, up 0.57%, on the BSE. The company's market capitalisation stands at ₹198.2 crore.
