Shares of Suzlon Energy, a leading renewable energy company, closed 1.3% lower on the BSE at ₹65.4 apiece on Thursday ahead of its board meeting outcome.

The company reported strong all-around performance in the Q4FY25. The total revenue for the quarter stood at ₹3,825 crore, up by 75% YoY as against ₹2,179 crore in the previous year's similar quarter. The strong growth was largely driven by its core wind turbine business segment, which recorded more than double the revenue for Q4FY25 at ₹3,140 crore as compared to the previous year’s similar quarter.

On the operational front, the EBITDA for the quarter also doubled at ₹729 crore as compared to ₹341 crore, and the margins expanded by nearly 350 bps to 19.06% for Q4FY25.

On the bottom line front, the net profit for the quarter jumped multifold to ₹1,182 crore from ₹252 crore in the previous year’s similar quarter. This was primarily due to ₹600 crore deferred tax adjustment in the quarter

In the previous month, Suzlon Group has secured 378 MW wind energy project from NTPC Green Energy. Suzlon has consolidated its largest partnership with NTPC Green Energy (NGEL) to 1,544 MW, with a recent contract. This win strengthens Suzlon's undisputed market leadership and commitment to sustainable, large‐scale growth.

As part of this contract, Suzlon will supply 120 S144 Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) with Hybrid Lattice Towers (HLT) each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW, and also undertake foundation, erection, and commissioning for the project and will provide maintenance and services.
