Sun TV Network posted a net profit of ₹346.17 crore for the December quarter (Q3 FY25), registering a 20.6% decline as compared to ₹437.34 crore reported in the year-ago quarter. The company’s subscription revenues increased by 2.03% to ₹434.51 crore.

Sun TV Network Limited on Friday reported a 20.6% decline in its standalone net profit to ₹347.17 crore for the October-December quarter of the current fiscal year (Q3 FY25) as against ₹437.34 crore in the year-ago quarter. Its revenue from operations fell to ₹793.59 crore, down 10.3% from ₹885.48 crore posted in Q3 FY24.
The company also announced that its Board of Directors has approved an interim dividend of ₹2.5 per equity share with a face value of ₹5 per share.
Sun TV announced its Q3 FY25 earnings post-market hours after the company’s shares ended 1.6% down at ₹628.65 apiece on the NSE on Friday, February 7. Its market capitalisation stands at ₹24,774.13 crore.
The company’s advertisement revenues stood at ₹332.17 crore for the reporting quarter, while its subscription revenues were up 2.03% at ₹434.51 crore.
Sun TV Network Limited is one of the largest television broadcasters in India, a company filing said, adding that it operates satellite television channels in seven Indian languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bangla, Marathi and Hindi. The company also has FM radio stations across the country and owns SunRisers Hyderabad Cricket Franchise of the Indian Premier League, Sun Risers Eastern Cape of Cricket South Africa's T20 League and the Digital OTT Platform Sun NXT, it added.
