On Thursday, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) reported a 30% decline in its March quarter consolidated net profit to ₹4,789.57 crore compared to ₹6,870.47 crore in the year-ago period.

The company's board also approved a 1:1 bonus issue, translating to one additional share for each share held.

Turnover was almost flat at ₹1.32 lakh crore as against ₹1.34 lakh crore in January-March 2023.
