On Wednesday, engineering and construction giant Larsen & Toubro (L&T) reported a 10.2% jump in consolidated net profit at ₹4,396.12 crore in Q4 FY24. In the year-ago period, the company had posted a consolidated net profit of ₹3,986.78 crore.

The consolidated income rose to ₹68,120.42 crore in the fourth quarter from ₹59,076.06 crore recorded in the year-ago period.

"The year has concluded on a very strong note for us. We have secured order inflows of more than ₹3 lakh crore, and the order book is around ₹4.75 lakh crore, reflecting the continued trust reposed on us by all our esteemed clients," the company's Chairman and Managing Director SN Subrahmanyan said.
