As many as 28 companies are expected to announce their financial results for the third quarter of the current fiscal year (Q3 FY25) today. Major firms including ICICI Bank, Yes Bank, NTPC, NTPC Green Energy and IDFC First Bank will announce their quarterly earnings on Saturday, January 25.

ICICI Bank reported a 14.5% year-on-year (YoY) jump in its consolidated net profit for Q2 FY25 at ₹11,746 crore. Its Net Interest Income (NII) grew to ₹20,048 crore, up 9.5% YoY and its Gross NPA stood at 1.97% as against 2.48% in the year-ago period.
Yes Bank posted a consolidated net profit of ₹553 crore, up 145.6% from ₹225 crore reported in Q1 FY25. NII of the bank increased by 14.3% to ₹2,200 crore for the reporting quarter, up from ₹1,925 crore.
NTPC’s consolidated net profit for the second quarter of the current fiscal year stood at ₹5,380 crore, up 13.8% from ₹4,726 crore reported in Q1 FY25. The company’s revenue increased marginally by 0.6% to ₹44,696 crore.
Many companies including IndiGo, JSW Steel, Bank of India, AU Small Finance Bank, Granules India and DLF, among others, announced their Q3 FY25 earnings yesterday on Friday, January 24.
InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) posted an 18.32% decline in its consolidated net profit to ₹2,448.8 crore as against ₹2,998.1 crore in the year-ago period. Its revenue from operations rose 13.6% to ₹22,110.7 crore as compared to ₹19,452.1 in Q3 FY24.
Bank of India reported a 34.6% YoY jump in its net profit to ₹2,516.7 crore and an 11.1% increase in its NII to ₹6,070.3 crore.
JSW Steel posted a 70% decline in its net profit to ₹719 crore caused by higher expenses. Net debt of the company was at ₹80,921 crore.
Granules India reported a 6% decline in its net profit to ₹118 crore. Revenue from operations of the company also saw a decline of 1.5%.
