The earnings season for the latest July-September quarter of the current fiscal year (Q2 FY25) is on, and many companies will announce their financial results on Wednesday. These include automobile giant Bajaj Auto, engineering services provider L&T Technology Services, and global analytics firm CRISIL.
IT software company Mphasis, financial services provider Aditya Birla Money Ltd, record label and film producer Tips Music Ltd and Kerala-headquartered South Indian Bank Ltd will also declare their Q2 report cards on October 16.

HDFC Life Q2 profit rises 15% to ₹433 crore

HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd reported a 14.8% jump in net profit to ₹433 crore for Q2 FY25, the company informed in an exchange filing on Tuesday.

The Private insurer had posted a ₹377 crore profit in the year-ago period.

The net premium rose to ₹16,570 crore during the quarter under review from ₹14,756 crore a year back.

During the latest quarter, the first-year premium collection surged to ₹3,253 crore, up 26.7% from ₹2,566 crore in Q2 FY24.
