NCC Q1 Results: Net profit falls 8% YoY to ₹192 crore, revenue down 6%

NCC reported a basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) of ₹3.03 for the April-June quarter.

NCC Limited on Tuesday, August 5, reported a consolidated net profit of ₹192.1 crore for the first quarter of the current fiscal year (Q1 FY26), down 8.4% year-on-year (YoY) from ₹209.9 crore posted in the year-ago period. 

The company’s revenue from operations declined by 6.3% YoY to ₹5,178.9 crore against ₹5,527.9 crore in Q1 FY25. Its total income fell by 6% YoY to ₹5,207.9 crore in Q1 FY26 from ₹5,558.3 crore in the same period last year. 

“NCC Limited [NCCL] has reported a turnover of ₹5,207.93 Crore (including other income) on a consolidated basis in the first quarter of financial Year 2025-26 as against ₹5,558.33 Crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, a decrease of 6% on year-on-year basis,” the company said in a release on Tuesday. 

The construction firm’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) also fell by 4.3% to ₹456.12 crore during the June quarter as compared to ₹477.9 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. EBITDA margin increased marginally to 8.8% in Q1 FY26 from 8.6% in Q1 FY25. 

NCC reported a basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) of ₹3.03 for the April-June quarter, as compared to ₹3.20 in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

During the quarter, the company secured new orders amounting to ₹3,658 crore, and NCC’s consolidated orderbook at the end of the June quarter stood at ₹70,087 crore.

“In the first quarter of 2025-26, the Company has secured orders aggregating to ₹3,658 Crore (including change in scope) and the Order Book stood at ₹70,087 Crore on a consolidated basis as on 30.06.2025,” the release stated.

NCC shares

Shares of NCC Limited ended 0.25% down at ₹210.93 apiece on the NSE on Tuesday, August 5, after opening at ₹212.39 apiece. During the session, the stock touched an intraday high of ₹213.81 per share. 

The company’s market capitalisation stands at ₹13,243.17 crore. 

Over the last five days, NCC shares have declined by 5.45%, while the stock has fallen by as much as 12.08% in the past month. Year-to-date, it has fallen 23.99%. 

The scrip hit its 52-week high of ₹334.65 per share on August 5, 2024, and was at its 52-week low of ₹170.05 apiece on March 3, 2025.
