Hyundai Motor India Q3 Results: Automaker Hyundai Motor India reported a 6.34% increase in its consolidated profit after tax to ₹1,234.39 crore in the December quarter of the financial year 2025-26, according to an exchange filing.

The company had posted a post-tax profit of 1,160.73 crore in the year-ago period.

The company's revenue from operations advanced 7.96% to 17,973.48 crore in Q3 FY26, compared to 16,647.99 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) saw an uptick of 7.61% to ₹2,018 crore in the reporting quarter, compared to ₹1,876 crore in the same period a year back. EBITDA margin stood at 11.23% vs 11.27% a year back.

GST 2.0 and festive tailwinds supported domestic demand, with wholesale volume up 5% quarter-on-quarter, coupled with robust retail volumes.

Commenting on earnings, Tarun Garg, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, said, “The third-quarter performance underscores our resilience and strong execution of 'Quality of Growth' strategy, marked by healthy growth in volumes, revenue and profitability. Notably, on a year-to-date basis, EBITDA margins expanded to 12.8% as against 12.5% last year, supported by our efforts towards improving sales mix and prudent cost control measures. As we move ahead, the robust January ’26 sales number gives us great momentum towards a healthy 2026."

Shares of Hyundai Motor India settled 1.54% higher at ₹2,208.8 apiece on the NSE.

Hyundai Motor India's total sales surged 11.5% year-on-year (YoY) to 73,137 units in January 2026, compared to 65,603 units in January last year/

The carmaker said its dispatches to dealers in the domestic market climbed 9% YoY to 59,107 units. Exports stood at 14,030 units this January, up 20.9% YoY.

"Achieving our highest-ever monthly domestic sales of 59,107 units, alongside highest-ever total sales of 73,137 units with a strong 11.5 per cent year-on-year growth, reflects not only Hyundai's brand leadership but also the collective strength of our people, partners and customers," Garg said in a statement.
