HUDCO Q1 Results: Net profit rises 35% YoY to ₹851 crore, interim dividend announced; check record date

Housing and urban infrastructure projects financer Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) on Monday, July 27, reported a 35.05% rise in consolidated net profit to ₹851 crore for the June quarter of FY27.

The company had posted a consolidated net profit of ₹630.23 crore in the April-June quarter a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Revenue from operations rose by 26.55% to ₹3,717.17 crore in the June quarter of FY27. It was at ₹2,937 crore in the year-ago period.

HUDCO announces dividend; check record date

The board of directors of HUDCO declared a first interim dividend of ₹1.25 per share on the face value of ₹10 each for the fiscal year 2026-27. The record date has been fixed as July 31 to determine the eligibility of shareholders for the purpose of the payment of dividends.

"The process of payment of the interim dividend will be completed within 30 days of its declaration," the company said in an exchange filing.

The company's net interest income (NII) rose 21.1% to ₹1,149 crore in the quarter under review as against ₹949 crore in the same period of FY26.

"During the reporting period, four(4) NPAs in Project Loan were resolved through total repayment by the borrower. No fresh slippages to NPA in Project Loan were observed during the period. Further, the company has not undertaken any technical write-off for chronic NPA cases, in line with its Board-approved Technical Write-off policy. These write-offs are accounting adjustments and do not prejudice the company's right to continue recovery efforts," the company said.

HUDCO share performance

Shares of Housing & Urban Development Corporation Limited settled 3.39% higher at ₹202.16 apiece on the National Stock Exchange after the results announcement.

The stock had hit its 52-week high of ₹246.85 per share on November 18, 2025, while its year's low of ₹159 apiece was recorded on March 30, 2026.

The scrip has declined 0.25% in the past week and 3.29% in a month. Year-to-date, it slipped 11.50%.
