Honasa Consumer Q1 Results: Net profit up 3% at ₹41 crore, revenue rises 7.4% YoY

Honasa Consumer owns and operates famous personal care product company Mamaearth.

Honasa Consumer, the Mamaearth's parent company, reported a 2.7% year-on-year rise in its consolidated net profit for the first quarter of the current fiscal year (Q1 FY26) to ₹41.3 crore, up from ₹40.2 crore posted in the year-ago period on Tuesday, August 12.

The company reported a revenue from operations of ₹595.2 crore for the reporting quarter, up 7.4% from ₹554 crore posted in Q1 FY25.

Its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA), however, declined marginally by 1% to ₹45.7 crore in Q1 FY26 as compared to ₹46.1 crore in Q1 FY25. EBITDA margin was at 7.7% during the June quarter against 8.3% in the year-ago quarter.

"Q1 FY26 marked a strong start to the year, with Honasa delivering its highest-ever quarterly revenue of ₹595 crore and a record quarterly profit of ₹41 crore, supported by a sequential improvement in EBITDA margin to 7.7%. Our focus categories, which now contribute over 80% of revenues, posted double-digit growth YoY, reaffirming the strength of our category-first approach," said Varun Alagh, Chairman and CEO & Co-founder, Honasa Consumer Limited.

The FMCG firm's gross profit margin grew to 71.2% in Q1 FY26, up 48 basis points (bps) on a yearly basis.

Honasa Consumer owns several new-age FMCG brands, including Mamaearth and The Derma Co. Mamaearth’s retail footprint expanded to 2,40,113 FMCG outlets in India during Q1 FY26, up 20% YoY, Honasa said, citing NielsenIQ data.

The Derma Co. recorded strong momentum, with its face cleanser category growing by over 100% YoY and crossing ₹100 crore annual recurring revenue (ARR).

Alagh added, "Building on the momentum, Mamaearth continues to show sequential improvement, with younger brands growing over 20% YoY—The Derma Co. sustained strong momentum, with Face Cleansers becoming its third ₹100 Cr+ ARR category after Serums and Sunscreens."

Honasa's general trade distribution remained on a positive trajectory, and its modern trade recorded a growth of 20% YoY.

Honasa Consumer shares

Shares of Honasa Consumer ended 1.75% up at ₹271 apiece on the NSE on Tuesday, August 12, after opening at ₹266 apiece. The company's market capitalisation stands at ₹8,812.48 crore.

Over the last five days, the stock has increased by 3.32%. However, it has fallen by 6.36% in the past month.

In the last six months, it has jumped 32.38%, while the year-to-date rise stands at 8.62%.

The scrip's 52-week high of ₹547 was hit on September 10, 2024, while it was at its 52-week low of ₹197.51 on February 12, 2025.
