Highway Infrastructure share price declines after Q1 results; check net profit, revenue and other details

Highway Infrastructure share price declined on Tuesday, September 2, after the company released its latest set of numbers for the first quarter of the financial year 2025-26.

The stock fell 1.27% to ₹94.60 apiece on the National Stock Exchange at 1:58 pm. Its market capitalisation stands at ₹678.48 crore, while the free float m-cap is ₹144.17 crore.

Highway Infrastructure Q1 results

Highway Infrastructure posted a 71.19% increase in its consolidated profit after tax to ₹7.19 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2025. In the year-ago period, its net profit stood at ₹4.2 crore.

Its revenue from operations jumped 4.55% to ₹111.95 crore in the latest June quarter, compared to ₹107.07 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.

The company's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 35.73% to ₹12 crore in the quarter under review, as against ₹8 crore in Q1 FY25. EBITDA margin stood at 10.28% vs 7.92% a year back.

At the current share price, the scrip is trading 35.14% higher than the IPO issue price of ₹70 per unit.

It made a spectacular debut at ₹115 per share on the NSE on August 12, which shows a premium of 64.29% over the issue price.

The initial public offering sought to raise ₹130 crore by offering new equity shares worth ₹97.52 crore and an offer for sale valued at ₹32.48 crore by two promoters: Arun Kumar Jain and Anoop Agrawal. The price range was set at ₹65-₹70 per share.

The objectives of the issue were working capital requirements and general corporate purposes.

Incorporated in 1995, Highway Infrastructure is involved in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), real estate development and toll collection services.

It undertakes government-based projects, primarily those awarded by the National Highways Authority of India and state agencies.
