Axis Bank Q2 Results: Axis Bank will declare its financial results for the quarter that ended September 2024 on Thursday, October 17.

The private lender is forecasted to post lower loan growth for Q2 FY25. Due to rising funding costs, the bank's net interest margins (NIM) are also likely to contract and may fall 3-15 basis points (bps) sequentially.

According to analysts, the net profit may report a high single-digit growth led by lower provisions and growth in net interest income.

In Q1 FY25, Axis Bank's loan book surged 14% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹9.80 lakh crore, with deposits rising by 13% YoY to ₹10.62 lakh crore. NIMs for the April-June quarter stood at 4.05%, a slight dip from the previous quarter (4.06%) and a year ago (4.10%). The gross non-performing assets (NPA) rose to 1.54% from 1.43% in Q4 FY24, and net NPA grew to 0.34% from 0.31%.
Other companies releasing their Q2 FY25 results today include Infosys, Havells India, Wipro, LTIMindtree, Nestle India, Tata Chemicals, Steel Exchange India and Central Bank of India.
