Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail shares: Shares of Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Limited (ABFRL) slumped as much as 6.61% to an intraday low of ₹78.35 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Thursday, November 6, after the company announced its second-quarter results for the 2025-26 financial year (Q2FY26).

At around 12:22 pm, the stock was trading 6.42% lower at ₹78.72 per equity share.

Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Q2 results

The Aditya Birla group company’s consolidated net loss widened to ₹263.33 crore for the September quarter of FY26.

In the same quarter of the previous fiscal year, it clocked a net loss of ₹146.19 crore, it said in a regulatory filing dated Tuesday.

The firm, however, witnessed a 12.56% year-on-year (YoY) surge in its revenue from operations, which stood at ₹1,981.66 crore during the quarter, as against ₹1,760.51 crore in the second quarter of Y25.

At an operational level, its EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation), also known as operating profit, grew by 7% YoY to ₹116 crore for Q2FY26, compared to ₹108 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY25, as per the company’s investor presentation.

While its EBITDA margin expanded by 30 basis points (bps) YoY to 6.2% during the quarter under review, from 5.9% in Q2FY25, it was impacted due to higher marketing spends, which were up by 200 bps YoY, across the portfolio.

Its revenue from the pantaloons segment increased by 6% YoY to ₹1,142 crore. However, the business's profitability was impacted by OWND brand losses and increased ad spending.

Furthermore, the company’s ethnic business advanced by 11% YoY to ₹505 crore, it said.

It's TMRW venture’s revenue soared 27% YoY to ₹222 crore, maintaining its organic growth momentum.
