Adani Enterprises Q2 results: Net profit jumps 664.5% to ₹1,742 crore, revenue up 15.6%

Adani Enterprises' revenue from operations increased 15.6% to ₹22,608.07 crore in the second quarter of the financial year 2024-25, compared to ₹19,546.25 crore in Q2 FY24.

Gautam Adani-led Adani Enterprises reported a 664.5% jump in its consolidated net profit to ₹1,741.75 crore in the quarter that ended September 2024. In the corresponding period last fiscal, the net profit was ₹227.8 crore.

Revenue from operations increased 15.66% to ₹22,608.07 crore in the second quarter of the financial year 2024-25, compared to ₹19,546.25 crore in Q2 FY24.

EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation) grew 45.8% to ₹3,694 crore from ₹2,533 crore in the year-ago period. The margin rose 340 basis points (bps) to 16.3%.

The profit before tax (PBT) increased by 137% YoY to ₹4,644 crore.

The company's Board also approved the issuance of non-convertible debentures (NCD) up to ₹2,000 crore in one or more tranches.

Adani Enterprises shares settle in green

Following the earnings announcement, shares of Adani Enterprises closed 1.5% higher at ₹2,842 apiece on the NSE.

On the BSE, the scrip ended at ₹2,841.4, up 1.4%.

Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, said, "Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL) continues to focus on investing in logistics, energy transition and adjacent sectors that are core to the economic growth of the country. This record-breaking half-year performance has been led by Adani New Industries Ltd (ANIL) and Adani Airport Holdings Ltd (AAHL) with their rapid growth in capacity additions and asset utilisation."

"Our focus on execution of greenfield projects in ANIL across three giga scale integrated manufacturing plants and the accelerated development of Navi Mumbai International Airport are driving these robust results," he added.

He also stated that Adani Enterprises will replicate its turbo growth in segments such as data centres, roads, metals & materials and specialized manufacturing. "AEL continues to invest in innovative technology across its platforms to support this high growth phase," Adani said.
