Gold and silver prices on July 3: 24k gold around ₹97,800 per 10 gram; investors awaits key US economic data

Domestic gold prices are trading flat in morning trades reacting to range bound movement in the international gold prices. As of 11:15 am, the 24K gold rate in the local market stood at ₹97,800 per 10 gram, up ₹80/10 gram or 0.08%, while 22K gold was at ₹89,650 per 10 gram.

Gold prices are range bound as investors look forward to crucial US economy data. US Non-Farm Payrolls (NFP) and ISM Services PMI data for June are due later in the day.

As per initial estimates, the NFP data is expected to show an increase of 110,000 jobs, down from 139,000 in May. Investors are also looking forward to the US-India trade negotiations. Yesterday, US announced a revised 20% tariff on Vietnamese goods, lower than initially promised, as part of ongoing trade recalibrations.

Experts believe if US trade deal is not finalised with major exporting countries by 9 July deadline then it could lead to volatility in global markets and could benefit the gold prices further.

In New Delhi markets, the 24K gold rate stood at ₹97,560 per 10 gram and 22K gold at ₹89,430 per 10 gram.

MCX Gold futures are also trading higher. As of 11:15 am, the MCX Gold August future is up 0.26% at ₹97,640 per 10 gram, with a day high of ₹97,645 and day low of ₹97,389. In the US markets, Gold futures for August delivery is trading 0.19% or $17 higher at $3,369 an ounce.

Silver Price Today in India (July 3, 2025)

Silver prices are trading slightly higher in the local market above ₹1.07 lakh mark on Thursday, July 3,2025. As of 11:15 am, silver prices are around ₹1,07,840 per kg, up 0.22%. Meanwhile, MCX Silver for July delivery trades 0.63% higher at ₹1,08,195 per kg, while international silver prices trade around $36.7 per troy ounce, up 0.8%.
