Zomato, Adani Total Gas, Paytm and Nykaa among 55 stocks with revised circuit limits on BSE | Check full list

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday announced revised circuit limits for 55 stocks effective November 29, 2024, as part of its ongoing risk management measures to control excessive market volatility.

The new limits include a 10% price band for 46 stocks, such as Zomato, YES Bank, Adani Total Gas, Paytm, LIC, JSW Energy, Oil India, Nykaa, and Varun Beverages.

Meanwhile, four stocks -- BGIL Films & Technologies Ltd, Laffans Petrochemicals Ltd, Chennai Meenakshi Multispeciality Hospital Ltd Prima Industries Ltd-- will now operate under a 5% circuit limit. Indus, Finance Ltd, Avro India Ltd, Naapbooks Ltd, SMS Lifesciences India Ltd, and Shankar Lal Rampal Dye-Chem Ltd will see their limits capped at 2%.

Circuit limits, or price bands, restrict how much a stock’s price can move in either direction during a single trading session. These adjustments are implemented based on trading activity, historical volatility, and recent price trends to safeguard market integrity.

The exchange regularly revises these limits to ensure market stability and curb excessive price swings.
