Eyewear brand Warby Parker is handing away free ISO-certified solar eclipse glasses to watch the astronomical event.

The total solar eclipse could generate as much as $6 billion, as per The Perryman Group's analysis. The economics consulting company said the event will create more interest than North America's last total eclipse in 2017.

The total solar eclipse will start at 9:12 pm Indian Standard Time (IST) on Monday, April 8. The totality will begin at 10:08 pm and will end at 2:22 am on April 9.

People living in India can witness the total solar eclipse by switching to NASA's live stream. The live stream will begin at 10:30 pm IST on April 8 and will continue till 1:30 am IST.
