PM Kisan 21st installment date 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi or PM Kisan scheme on Wednesday, November 19.

The PM Kisan Yojana, a central sector scheme launched in February 2019, provides financial assistance of ₹6,000 per eligible farmer family annually.

Till now, more than ₹3.70 lakh crore has been disbursed to over 11 crore farmer families across India through 20 installment. The funds assist farmers in purchasing farm inputs and covering other expenses like marriage, education, and medical costs.

A study was conducted by the IFPRI, or International Food and Policy Research Institute, in 2019 to know the impact of the PM-KISAN scheme on farmers' lives.

"The study strongly suggests that the funds disbursed under the PM-KISAN scheme have acted as a catalyst in rural economic growth, aided in alleviating the credit constraints for farmers, and increased investments in agricultural inputs," the agriculture ministry said in a statement.

PM Kisan 21st installment date and time: When to expect?

The 21st instalment of the PM Kisan scheme will be credited to the bank account of farmers on Wednesday, November 19. The time has not been announced yet.

Farmers whose land details are seeded on the PM-Kisan portal and bank accounts are linked with Aadhaar get the benefit of the scheme.

• On the homepage, click on 'e-KYC'
• Fill in your Aadhaar number
• Click on search
• Verify the OTP sent to the Aadhaar-registered number

"In line with this, the agriculture ministry has launched a new initiative to create a farmer registry. This well-organised and meticulously scrutinised database will eliminate the need for farmers to go through cumbersome processes to access social welfare benefits," the agriculture ministry statement said.
