Jio BlackRock Asset Management, a 50:50 joint venture (JV) between Jio Financial Services and BlackRock, raised ₹17,800 crore ($2.1 billion) from institutional and retail investors through its three new fund offer (NFO), including Jio BlackRock Liquid Fund.

The total investment of ₹17,800 crore was raised across three cash or debt mutual fund schemes, including JioBlackRock Overnight Fund, JioBlackRock Liquid Fund and JioBlackRock Money Market Fund, Jio BlackRock Asset Management said in a press release dated Monday.

The NFO recorded investments from more than 90 institutional investors and over 67,000 retail investors during the offer period, which commenced on June 30 and closed on July 2.

The company’s maiden NFO also became one of India’s largest in the cash or debt fund segment, “placing JioBlackRock Asset Management among the top 15 asset management companies by Debt Assets Under Management in the country, out of 47 fund houses”.

Shares of Jio Financial Services surged 1.46% to an intra-day high of ₹329.70 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Monday. At the time of writing, it was trading 1.15% higher at ₹328.70 apiece.

The stock lost 0.46% over the previous week but has gained 0.58% since the beginning of July. The scrip soared 43.62% in the first quarter of FY26 and 10.04% on a year-to-date basis.

It hit a 52-week low of ₹198.65 on March 3, 2025, and a high of ₹363 on September 27, 2024.

Jio Financial Services Ltd has a total market capitalisation of ₹2.09 lakh crore, as of July 7, 2025, according to data on the NSE.
