HSCC (India) Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of state-owned NBCC (India) Limited, has secured two orders worth ₹599.35 crore from the National Health Mission in Maharashtra.
In a regulatory filing on Thursday, NBCC said that the projects include the establishment and operation of the Hinduhridaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Aapla Dawakhana across Maharashtra, valued at around ₹259.35 crore.
HSCC will also set up Radiation Oncology Units (Radiotherapy Units) on a turnkey basis in Jalna, Ratnagiri, Baramati, and Dharashiv districts, at an estimated cost of ₹340 crore.
The orders were received in the normal course of business, NBCC said in the filing.
HSCC specialises in consultancy and project management services for the healthcare sector, while NBCC is a government-owned Navratna enterprise engaged in construction and project management.
Shares of NBCC were trading at ₹102.90 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, up 2.85% from Wednesday’s close.
NBCC has also reported strong financial performance in the current fiscal year. For the quarter ended September (Q2 FY25), the company posted a 53% rise in its consolidated net profit to ₹125.13 crore, compared to ₹81.90 crore in the same period last year. Total income for the quarter increased to ₹2,525.95 crore from ₹2,134.36 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
