Under the agreement, authorised Maruti Suzuki service outlets will be established at chosen IndianOil retail sites, allowing customers to carry out scheduled maintenance and minor repairs at the same locations where they refuel, the companies said.

IndianOil operates more than 41,000 fuel stations nationwide, one of the largest retail networks in India. The partnership is expected to strengthen Maruti Suzuki’s after-sales network, which currently has more than 5,780 service touchpoints across the country.

“By bringing authorised service to the fuel station, both companies aim to provide a "onestop" solution that enhances convenience and peace of mind for millions of car owners throughout their ownership journey,” the statement read.

Maruti Suzuki India Executive Officer (Service) Ram Suresh Akella said the partnership would help make car servicing easier and more accessible by taking after-sales services to locations frequently visited by customers.

“Our goal is to make car servicing 35 easy and convenient as possible for our customers,” Akella said. “By partnering with Indian Oil Corporation Limited..., we will leverage their unmatched reach to take our after-sales service to locations frequently visited by our customers.”

Saumitra P Srivastava, Director (Marketing), IndianOil, said: “With a network of over 41,000 fuel stations across the length and breadth of India, we are uniquely positioned to bring essential services closer to the consumer.”

Maruti Suzuki is India’s largest passenger vehicle manufacturer by sales, while IndianOil is the country’s leading fuel retailer and a Maharatna public sector enterprise.
