BharatPe, a key player in the fintech sector, on Tuesday, April 23, announced the launch of its all-in-one payment device ‘BharatPe One’. The device is aimed at offering ease to merchants and retailers who use different devices for point of sale (PoS), QR code-based payments and sound boxes to alert them on transactions.
BharatPe One will streamline payments operations by integrating all these features, the company said in a statement, adding that it will be launched in about 100 cities in the first phase.

BharatPe, which is competing with sectoral giants PhonePe, Google Pay and Paytm in the merchant payments category, aims to roll out its all-in-one product in around 450 cities over the course of the next 6 months.

It will offer “enhanced performance”, said BharatPe, as the device is equipped with a “high-definition touchscreen display, 4G and Wi-Fi connectivity, and powered by the latest Android operating system”.
