“Better entry points after correction”: Tata AMC

Commenting on the decision, Anand Vardarajan, Chief Business Officer at Tata Asset Management, said the move reflects confidence in current market conditions and deployment opportunities.

“Our decision to resume subscriptions reflects our confidence in current deployment opportunities and our ability to identify businesses with strong balance sheets and sustainable growth trajectories,” he said.

He added that recent volatility in small-cap stocks has created a more favourable valuation environment for long-term investors.

Small-cap correction improves valuation comfort

The fund house noted that recent market movements have led to a correction in small-cap stocks, easing earlier valuation premiums.

This has, in turn, improved the availability of fundamentally strong companies at more reasonable price levels, aligning with the fund’s bottom-up investment strategy.

With this shift, the scheme has been reopened for lump-sum investments, allowing investors with a long-term horizon to participate again in the segment.

No change in risk profile or terms

The fund clarified that all other terms and conditions, including the risk-o-meter of the scheme, remain unchanged.

Investors have been advised to consult financial advisors and review scheme documents carefully, as mutual fund investments remain subject to market risks.

Tata Asset Management, established in 1994, is the investment manager of Tata Mutual Fund. It manages a wide range of equity, debt, and hybrid schemes and has a folio base of over 89 lakh investors as of March 31, 2026.
