The HDFC BSE India Sector Leaders Index Fund opens its New Fund Offer (NFO) today, November 7, 2025. This open-ended scheme aims to replicate the performance of the BSE India Sector Leaders Index (TRI), providing investors with an opportunity to gain exposure to India’s leading sectors, including those that drive the economy’s growth.

HDFC BSE India Sector Leaders Index Fund: Key features for investors

1. Objective: The fund aims to deliver returns in line with the BSE India Sector Leaders Index (TRI), with a focus on long-term growth.
2. Investment strategy: The fund invests primarily in the stocks that make up the BSE India Sector Leaders Index, representing India’s top-performing sectors.
3. NFO closure date: November 21, 2025
4. Plans available: Regular plan (via distributor) and direct plan (for direct investment, bypassing the distributor).
5. Growth option: Investors will only have access to the growth option, where all income and realised profits remain reinvested into the fund.
6. Fund Manager: Nandita Menezes, with over 3 years of experience in equity dealing and auditing.
7. Co-Fund Manager: Arun Agarwal, with more than 27 years of experience in equity, debt, and fund management.
8. Minimum Investment: ₹100
9. SIP facility: Investors can avail of Systematic Investment Plans (SIP) during the NFO, allowing for regular investments at intervals. SIP Top-Up, Micro SIP (for investors without PAN), and SIP Pause are available for added flexibility.

Meanwhile, three new mutual fund schemes opened their New Fund Offers (NFOs) for subscription on November 6, 2025, offering diverse investment avenues to investors.

The Helios Small Cap Fund and the Kotak Rural Opportunities Fund are both open-ended equity schemes, with the Helios fund focusing on small-cap businesses and the Kotak fund following a thematic approach to capitalise on India's rural and allied growth. Both of these funds have a closing date of November 20, 2025.

In contrast, the third launch, the Old Bridge Arbitrage Fund, is a lower-risk hybrid scheme designed to generate income by exploiting arbitrage opportunities, closing on November 10, 2025.
