ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has taken a formal step into India’s newly introduced Specialised Investment Fund (SIF) space by filing draft documents with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for its iSIF platform.

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund files offer document for iSIF Equity Ex-Top100 Long-Short Fund

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has filed an offer document with SEBI to launch an open-ended investment strategy named ‘iSIF Equity Ex-Top100 Long-Short Fund’. The New Fund Offer price for units would be Rs 10 each during the New Fund Offer Period.

Entry load will be nil. Exit load will be 1% of applicable Net Asset Value -If the amount sought to be redeemed or switched out within 12 months from allotment; and NIL -If the amount sought to be redeemed or switched out after 12 months. The Scheme offers a Growth option for investment and seeks to collect a Minimum Target Amount of Rs 10 crore.

The performance will be benchmarked against Nifty 500TRI. The minimum application amount is Rs 10,00,000 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter.

The investment objective of the scheme is to generate capital appreciation in the long term by predominantly investing in equity and equity-related securities of Ex-top 100 companies.

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has filed offer document with SEBI to launch an interval investment strategy named ‘iSIF Hybrid Long-Short Fund’. The New Fund Offer price for units would be Rs 10 each during the New Fund Offer Period.

Entry load will be nil. Exit load will be 1% of applicable Net Asset Value -If the amount sought to be redeemed or switched out within 12 months from allotment; and NIL -If the amount sought to be redeemed or switched out after 12 months. The Scheme offers Growth option for investment and seeks to collect a Minimum Target Amount of Rs 10 crore.

The performance will be benchmarked against the CRISIL Hybrid 50+50 Moderate Index. The minimum application amount is Rs 10,00,000 and in multiples of Rs 1 thereafter.

The investment objective of the scheme is to predominantly invest in equity and equity-related securities with an aim to achieve capital appreciation over the long term, and also invest in Debt instruments to generate regular income. The Investment Strategy can also adopt equity and debt derivative strategies. The Investment Strategy can also invest in units of REITs/ InVITs.
