DSP Mutual Fund has filed draft papers with SEBI for its upcoming Fixed Maturity Plan (FMP) – Series 277 to 279, offering investment tenures ranging from 30 days to 120 months. These are close-ended debt schemes designed to generate income over a fixed investment horizon by investing in debt and money market instruments that mature in line with the scheme’s tenure.

Key things investors must know about DSP Mutual Fund upcoming Fixed Maturity Plan (FMP) – Series 277 to 279

Type of scheme

Close-ended debt schemes investing primarily in debt and money market instruments that mature on or before the end of the scheme’s tenure.

Fund managers

The schemes will be jointly managed by Karan Mundhra, Shalini Vasanta, and Kunal Khudania.

Plans and options

Investors can choose between a Regular Plan and a Direct Plan, each available with:

Growth Option, and

Income Distribution cum Capital Withdrawal (IDCW) Option – where IDCW, if declared, may be reinvested or paid out as per the investor’s preference.

Liquidity and redemption

Units can be redeemed only at maturity.

Redemption proceeds will be dispatched within 3 working days from the maturity date.

In exceptional cases permitted under SEBI/AMFI guidelines, additional timelines may apply.

Investors who wish to exit earlier may sell their units on the stock exchange, provided they hold them in demat form.

Tenure

Each series will have a fixed maturity period, as detailed in the Scheme Information Document (SID).

Benchmark / Indices tracked

The performance of each FMP series will be benchmarked against relevant money market or debt indices, depending on the portfolio’s maturity profile. (Exact indices for each series are provided in the Scheme Information Document.)

Investment details

NFO price: ₹10 per unit

Minimum application amount: ₹5,000 and any amount thereafter during the NFO period

These schemes are not open for continuous sale or repurchase during their tenure.
