Aditya Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company (Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC) has announced October 16, 2026, as the record date for the declaration of Income Distribution cum Capital Withdrawal (IDCW) under four mutual fund schemes. The distributions are subject to the availability of distributable surplus on the record date.

The announced IDCW amounts are based on a face value of ₹10 per unit and differ between the Direct and Regular plans.

1. Aditya Birla Sun Life Midcap Fund

The distribution is subject to the availability of distributable surplus on the record date.

2. Aditya Birla Sun Life Medium to Long Term Fund

The scheme is an open-ended medium-term debt fund that invests in instruments to maintain a portfolio Macaulay duration of four to seven years. It carries relatively high interest rate risk and moderate credit risk.

4. Aditya Birla Sun Life Balanced Advantage Fund

Mutual fund schemes offer two primary IDCW options for investors

In this plan, the mutual fund distributes the accumulated profits to investors at regular intervals. Once the distribution is made, the net asset value (NAV) of the fund decreases by the amount of the payout.

Instead of receiving the payout in cash, the profits are reinvested back into the mutual fund, purchasing additional units for the investor. This increases the number of units the investor holds, while the NAV of the fund reduces by the payout amount.
