The UAE's Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) is currently allowing individuals living outside the UAE to apply for the multiple-entry visa, which will be initially valid for 180 days. After the completion of the necessary procedures for the Blue Residency programme within 180 days, the visa may be extended up to 10 years.

UAE's Blue Residency is a 10-year residency prorgamme dedicated to sustainability advocates and experts. The entry visa for this programme will be given to individuals who have made exceptional contributions to environmental protection and sustainability.

The UAE's official website says, "This visa is given to supporters of environmental action, including members of international organisations, international companies, members of associations and non-governmental organisations, global award winners, and distinguished activists and researchers in environmental work."
