The stock market corrections since last year have reduced the net worth of many billionaires. But a few are exceptions.

On Monday (April 7, 2025), when fear and panic gripped investors amid a fresh market crash, Warren Buffett, the chairman and largest shareholder of Berkshire Hathaway, was all over social media, receiving praise for increasing his net worth by over $12 billion year-to-date (YTD).

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index data on Monday, Buffett's net worth has increased by ₹12.7 billion YTD. He is now the sixth richest person listed on the index with a total net worth of ₹150 billion.
