SBI Card has decided to discontinue complimentary insurance coverage for its cardholders in the new financial year. With effect from July 26, 2025, SBI Card will also stop offering complimentary air accident insurance coverage of ₹50 lakh.

Changes in the rewards point programme and other benefits on several credit cards will come into effect in the new Financial Year commencing from April 1, 2025. This article highlights the changes:
SBI Card has announced changes to its reward points programme and updated terms and conditions for certain benefits from April 1, 2025. According to SBI Card website, these changes will apply to users of SBI Card SimplyCLICK, Air India SBI Platinum Credit Card, and Air India SBI Signature Credit Card.
SBI Card will reduce reward points from 10X to 5X on Swiggy transactions using the SimplyCLICK SBI credit card. However, this card will continue to offer 10X reward points on online purchases through Myntra, Netmeds, Cleartrip, Dominos, Yatra, BookMyShow, Apollo 24x7 etc.
SBI card has also decided to revise the accelerated reward benefits on Air India ticket booking through the airline's mobile app and online portal. These changes will be applicable from March 31, 2025.
As per SBI Card website, reward points through SBI Platinum Credit Card will be reduced from 15 to 5 per ₹100 spent. Further, the reward points per ₹100 spent through Air India SBI Signature Credit Card will be reduced from 30 to 10.
SBI Card has also decided to discontinue complimentary insurance coverage for its card holders in the new financial year. With effect from July 26, 2025, SBI Card will stop offering complimentary air accident insurance coverage of ₹50 lakh. Complimentary rail accident insurance of ₹10 lakh will also be discontinued.
The milestone benefits on Club Vistara IDFC First bank card will not be available from April 1. However, customers using this card will continue to earn Maharaja Points until March 31, 2026.
IDFC First Bank credit cards will discontinue offering Club Vistara Silver Memberships, and complementary vouchers such as one premium economy ticket and one-class upgrade voucher. Further, milestone vouchers for premium economy tickets will not be available in the new financial year. However, customers will be able to use the Maharaja Points till March 31, 2026.
Club Vistara SBI Card will also stop offering an economy ticket voucher, and milestone benefits on annual spends above ₹1.25 lakh, ₹2.5 lakh and ₹5 lakh Further, Club Vistara SBI Prime Card will no longer offer premium economy ticket voucher.
