Silver price after being steady on the previous day have declined today (June 23, 2026). According to GoodReturns.in, prices have gone down by ₹5,000 to ₹2,45,000 per 10 gm.

The weakness in the metal is in line with the pullback in gold prices seen today.

Silver price on the MCX has seen a sharp blow with silver July futures down by a significant over 2.5% or ₹5,988 at ₹2,28,322 per kg.

The sharp decline was seen as the dollar index moved higher, above 101 levels.

A higher dollar index weighs on the metal as the dollar-priced bullion becomes expensive for the holders of other currencies.

Alongside, invesstors are also assessing developments in the US-Iran peace talks.

Furthermore, oil prices after a sharp slide on the previous have recovered some lost ground, fuelling inflationary concerns.
