Gold Rate Today, June 23: Prices fall by up to ₹2,070/ 10 gm; check 18, 22, 24 carat price

Gold price after gaining substantially over the previous session declined today (June 23, 2026). According to GoodReturns.in, 24 carat declined by ₹2,070 to ₹1,45,910, while 22 carat gold fell in price by ₹1,900 to ₹1,33,750. Meanwhile, 18 carat gold also declined by ₹1,550 to ₹1,09,440 per 10 gm, respectively.

Kalyan Jewellers 24 carat gold is priced at ₹14,798, while 22 carat and 18 carat gold is available at a price of ₹13,565 and ₹11,099 per gm, respectively.

Joyalukkas: 22 carat gold is priced at ₹13,565 per gm. 24 carat gold quoted at ₹14,798 per gm, while 18 carat gold was retailing at ₹11,099.

Factors influencing gold rate today

On the MCX, gold August futures at around 9:16 am (IST) traded with a cut of around 1% or ₹1,46,712 per 10 gm.. The sentiment has weakened once again, with US gold futures also trading with a cut of over 1% at $4,154.5 per ounce.

The precious metal is facing the brunt amid hopes of a rate hike by the Federal Reserve in its December meet.

The higher interest rates in the economy tend to weigh on metals like gold as they are non-interest yielding instruments.

On the US-Iran peace talk front, US Vice President JD Vance said talks with Iranian officials in Switzerland had laid a good foundation for a final ⁠peace deal.

Even though long-term outlook for gold remains bullish, the near-term sentiment is bearish.
