Silver Rate on April 13: Check silver prices at jewellery stores in different cities today

The price of the white metal has been highly volatile, rising one day and falling on the other. On a similar pattern, silver prices after climbing on Friday, are again down today (April 13, 2026). Price of silver today is quoted at ₹2,72,000 per kg, down 1.81% or ₹5000 per kg.

Silver prices in India are determined based on international spot rates, currency exchange rates (USD/INR), and import duties, among others.

Broadly, amid jitters over the ongoing conflict in the West Asia and diminishing hopes of a rate cut by the US Fed, silver prices have gained only marginally over the last 10 days, rising from ₹26,690 per 100 gm to ₹27,200 today.

Silver prices softened today, mirroring price trend in the precious yellow-metal and price movement internationally.

Prices have struggled given the surge in the dollar index, which renders the metal expensive for buyers holding other currencies, weighing on overall demand.

Meanwhile, again an upswing in the crude prices to levels over $100 per barrel, in the wake of rekindled conflict, also weighed on silver prices.

At the time of writing (1:47 pm IST), silver futures for May delivery traded with a cut of ₹3898 or 1.6% at ₹2,39,376 per kg. During the day, silver's high and low prices on the MCX were ₹2,39,600 and ₹2,37,190 per kg.

Meanwhile, the US silver futures traded lower by over 2 per cent at $74.78.
