Indian markets rallied for the second consecutive session on Friday, despite a weak opening. The NIFTY50 index succeeded in holding the gains, which were led by the RBI’s bolstered outlook on the Indian Economy. Market participants are now shifting their focus to Q2 earnings, which begin this week.

According to experts, a daily close above the 20 EMA level of 24914 could add strong momentum to the markets. However, the index could face resistance at the trend line connecting swing highs.
NIFTY06oct.png On the options data front, the 24,800 puts witnessed heavy open interest addition and hold the highest open interest on the downside, indicating strong support for the index. On the other hand, the 25,000 calls hold the highest open interest, indicating a strong resistance on the upside.
