On the technical front, the NIFTY50 posted a bullish engulfing pattern, which engulfed the candles from the previous two sessions. This indicates a strong reversal of the bullish momentum in the index. However, the index failed to close above 25,200, which remains a crucial resistance for NIFTY50. A weekly close above the 25,200 levels could help the index rally further.

On the options data front, the 25,000 puts witnessed heavy open interest addition and hold the highest open interest as well, indicating strong support for the coming weekly expiry. On the upside, the 25,200 calls hold the highest open interest, indicating a strong resistance.
